Double Arrest at Botany Downs: Retail Crime Spree Halted

Counties Manukau East Police have arrested two women following a suspected shoplifting spree at a Botany Downs supermarket yesterday afternoon. Officers located over $1000 worth of stolen homeware in a vehicle before nabbing a second offender with $700 of unpaid items on the spot.

Local retailers are being urged to remain vigilant as “grab-and-run” incidents continue to spike across East Auckland malls.
